Dr. Marrissa R. Dick, a Bronx native now residing in Greensboro, NC, has been captivating readers with her African American Contemporary Christian Sci-Fi Romance Novels since 1996. Her six novels - Angel Fire, Cousins, Déjà Vu’ Desires, Déjà Vu’ Desires Part 2: Comfort, Letters, and Them's Eve's Daughters are much more than romantic tales. They delve into spiritual warfare, depicting the tension between angels and demons while tackling the struggles of flesh versus faith. Nubian Romance Novels inspires lives through the power of faith, storytelling, and personal growth. Each story weaves Christian values into relatable, emotionally charged experiences, often leaving readers inspired to reflect on their own life journeys.

In addition to writing and teaching, she cherishes spending time with family, traveling to the Caribbean, attending church, and cooking.
Through it all, her faith and love for God remain central, guiding both her personal and professional life. Her favorite Bible verse is Jeremiah 29:11, “For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the Lord, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.”
